After the laser cutting machine is used for a period of time, the cutting precision will have some error. This error is often caused by the change of the focal length. Therefore, to master how to debug precision is a necessary knowledge of the operation of laser cutting machine.

Four factors affecting the precision of laser cutting

People who are engaged in the production and processing of laser cutting equipment know that cutting accuracy is an important part of measuring machine's quality. In fact, the accuracy of metal laser cutting machine and non-metal laser cutting machine is not entirely determined by the laser cutting machine itself, but is composed of many factors. Now let me introduce the four elements that affect the accuracy of laser cutting.

(1) the beam emitted from the laser beam is cone shaped, so the slit cut is also tapered. In this case, the thickness of 0.4mm stainless steel will be much smaller than that of 3MM. Therefore, the shape of the laser beam depends on a major factor that affects the cutting precision of the metal laser cutting machine. In this conical laser beam, the greater the thickness of the workpiece, the lower the precision, and the greater the slit.

(2) spot size. When the cone-shaped laser beam is aggregated together, it will become smaller and smaller. So the accuracy of laser cutting is also getting higher and higher, especially the width of slit. At this time the minimum spot of light can reach 0.01mm. This is also one of the factors that affect the cutting precision of the laser cutting machine.

(3) the cutting precision of different materials is also slightly different, even if it is the same material, if the composition of the material is different, the precision of cutting will be different. Therefore, the material of the workpiece has a certain influence on the precision of laser cutting.



(4) the accuracy of the worktable, if the accuracy of the worktable is uneven, or other reasons, will result in high precision laser cutting.

Precision debugging method of laser cutting machine

(1) the focal point of the laser spot is transferred into the minimum time for an initial burst effect, the effect of spot size to determine the focal length, as long as we look for the laser spot to the minimum time, then this is the position of the best processing focus, and start working.

(2) in the first part of the laser cutting machine debugging, we can use some test, to determine the accuracy of workpiece scrap burst focal position, move up and down the laser head height, laser spot size will burst when there is a change of different sizes. The best position of the focal length and the laser head is determined by adjusting the different positions and finding the smallest spot position.

(3) after the laser cutting machine is installed, a scribing device will be installed on the cutting nozzle of the CNC cutting machine, and a simulated cutting figure is drawn through the scribing device, and the simulated figure is the square of 1m. A circle with a diameter of 1m is built into the diagonal line of the four angles. After the stroke is finished, the circle is measured by the measuring tool or not with the four sides of the square. The length of the diagonal of a square is 2 V (square root of the data is about: 1.41M), round the axis should divide the side of the square, and the square axis and two edges intersect on both sides of the intersection point to the square distance should be 0.5m. The distance between the diagonal and the intersection points can be used to determine the cutting precision of the equipment. This is the real deal experience!
